28 Nosler Load Development: A Practical Guide

The 28 Nosler is a fast, beltless 7mm magnum that fits a standard-length action and throws high-BC bullets flatter and faster than almost anything in its class. It is a long-range hunter’s cartridge — and a barrel burner — which is exactly why finding a settled load and stopping there matters.

Its large case drives 160–195-grain 7mm match and hunting bullets at high velocity, so a good load holds energy and bucks wind far downrange from a rifle that still fits a standard action.
