How to Get Data Off a LabRadar

Your LabRadar writes one CSV report per shot series to its SD card — files named like SR0001 Report.csv. To get them onto your computer, pull the SD card (or connect the unit over USB), copy the report files across, and read them into a tool that turns those velocities into a decision.

The LabRadar records everything on its own; the only real task is moving the files off it and reading them. Here are the ways to do that.

The short answer

Take the microSD card out of the LabRadar and put it in your computer, or plug the unit in over USB. Each series you shot is its own SRxxxx Report.csv file inside a matching SRxxxx folder. Copy the ones you want, then open them in software that reads the velocities.

1. Pull the SD card (the simplest way)

Power the LabRadar off, remove the microSD card, and read it on your computer with a card reader. You’ll find a folder for each series — SR0001, SR0002, and so on — each holding a Report.csv with that string’s per-shot velocities and the unit’s own average, standard deviation and extreme spread. Copy the series you care about; that CSV is all you need.

2. Over the USB cable

You can also connect the LabRadar to your computer with a USB cable and browse the same folders directly off the device, without pulling the card. Either way you’re after the same SRxxxx Report.csv files.

3. Straight into Loadscope
